M:It was amazing!The festival is celebrated every spring,and this year it was on March
13th.The night before,we had Holika Dahan,a bonfire tradition that marks the burning
of the bad.We lit a huge bonfire and danced around it.
W:That sounds so cool!What about the next day
M:Everyone was running around,throwing colored water at each other.The air was filled
with laughter and music.
W:I can imagine.It must have been so much fun.
M:It was!We also enjoyed traditional sweets like guiya and thandai.It was a perfect way to
celebrate the arrival of spring and the victory of the good over the bad.
