I remember my grandpa’s fried rice. Every weekend, he’d make it with eggs, peas, and a secret sauce. We’d eat together and talk about my school life. That fried rice is full of his love for me.
I’ll never forget my mom’s chocolate cake. She made it for my first piano show. Even though the cake was a bit lopsided, every bite was full of pride and love. It’s a memory of her cheering me on.
