My Hometown and My Friend’s Hometown
My hometown is Henan, and my friend Lucy’s hometown is Zhejiang. They are two beautiful places in China, and there are many differences between them.
我的故乡和朋友的故乡我的家乡是河南，我朋友露西的家乡是浙江。它们是中国两个美丽的地方，彼此之间有很多不同之处。
First, Henan is in the middle of China, but Zhejiang is in the east of China and close to the sea. Second, the climate is different. Henan has four clear seasons, and winter here is cold. Zhejiang’s winter is warm, and its summer is hot with much rain. 首先，河南在中国的中部，而浙江在中国的东部，靠近大海。其次，气候也不一样。河南四季分明，这里的冬天很冷。浙江的冬天很温暖，夏天则炎热多雨。
Third, the plants and animals are not the same. We have wheat and cotton in Henan, and we can see hens and sheep everywhere. In Zhejiang, there are many tea trees and bamboo, and you can find fish and lotus birds near the rivers.
再次，动植物也各不相同。河南有小麦和棉花，到处都能看到鸡和羊。浙江有很多茶树和竹子，在河边还能看到鱼和莲鹭。
Last, people do different activities. I often go to the ancient towns with my family and help my grandparents plant wheat in autumn. Lucy likes to go boating on the rivers and pick tea leaves with her parents in spring.

My friend Li Hao and I come from two different cities in China, and we both love our hometowns very much.
我的朋友李浩和我来自中国两个不同的城市，我们都非常热爱自己的家乡。
I am from Chongqing. It is in the southwest of China, by the Yangtze River. The climate here is hot and rainy in summer, and mild in winter. You can see cute pandas and lively monkeys in Chongqing Zoo, and osmanthus trees are everywhere on the streets. I often eat spicy hot pot with my family, visit Hongya Cave to see the beautiful night views, and take a river cruise on the Yangtze River with my friends.
我来自重庆。它在中国的西南部，长江边。这里的气候夏天炎热多雨，冬天温和。你能在重庆动物园看到可爱的熊猫和活泼的猴子，街道上到处都是桂花树。我经常和家人一起吃麻辣火锅，去洪崖洞看美丽的夜景，还会和朋友们一起坐长江游轮。
Li Hao lives in Xi’an. It is in the northwest of China, on the Guanzhong Plain. The climate in Xi’an is dry and hot in summer, and cold in winter. There are red-crowned cranes in the zoo, and pagoda trees and beautiful peonies grow well here. Li Hao likes to visit the amazing Terracotta Army, climb the ancient City Wall, and eat delicious biangbiang noodles with his parents.
李浩住在西安。它在中国的西北部，关中平原上。西安的气候夏天干热，冬天寒冷。动物园里有丹顶鹤，这里的国槐和美丽的牡丹长得很好。李浩喜欢去参观神奇的兵马俑，爬古老的城墙，还会和父母一起吃美味的油泼面。
