In this unit, we will
read poems about two different animals;
learn how amazing animals are;
describe an animal friend;
better understand the importance of animals in our lives.
Millie found some fun facts about animals. Help her match the facts with the right animals.

Millie: That’s interesting! Do you know that some snails can sleep for up to

Simon: Really That’s amazing! What else do you know
Millie: I know an ant can lift a thing 50 times its own weight.
Simon: Wow! I’d like to be that strong. Then I can carry over 2,500 kilograms!
Millie: Ha! I’ll have to call you “Strong Simon” then.
