family 家庭 视为整体,常用其单数形式,作主语时谓语动词用单数形式
家庭成员 表复数意义,作主语时谓语动词用复数形式

后面接名词、代词或动词 -ing 形式。
[辨析] like 与 as
like 介词,意为“像”,只侧重比较,表示在某些方面相似,但不 定完全相同
as 介词,意为“像”,侧重同一性,表示同一类或完全相似;连词,有“像······样”的意思,其后多接从句

be from 来自
相当于 come from,其后接表示国家、城市、地区等的地点名词。
[辨析] be from 与 come from
be from be 是连系动词,有人称和数的变化
come from come 是实义动词,句式的变化需借助助动词 do、does 等来完成,且谓语动词 come 的数受主语的影响
[注意] be 动词和 come 不能同时使用。
