later 可单独使用，位于句首或句末作状语。

①“时间段＋later”意为“······以后”，既可以表示从现在算起的“以后”又可以表示从过去某个时间点算起的“以后”。
② later on 意为“随后；后来；以后”，可用于句首和句末，在句中作状语。

be full of 相当于 be filled with，表示“充满”full 作形容词，意为“满的，充满的”，反义词为empty“空的”。

waiter 是由“wait (等待)＋后缀-er”构成的名词；waitress 为名词，意为“女服务员”，是由“wait(等待)＋后缀-ress”构成的名词。

此问句是餐馆里服务员的常用语，用于询问客人想要点什么饭菜。答语应用“I′d like...”来说明具体点什么餐。

①点餐时服务员的常用表达还有“Are you ready to order 您可以点餐了吗 ”“ May Itake your order 您要点菜吗 ”“Here′s the menu. 给您菜单。”等。
②点餐时顾客的常用表达有“May I have the menu，please 请问我可以看一下菜单吗 ”“I′d like to order...我想点······”等。

相当于“How about... ”，about 后可接名词、代词或动词 -ing 形式，用以询问消息、提供建议或征询意见等。

用来表示赞成、同意某人的建议、看法等，也可以说“It′s a good idea.”或“That′s a good idea.”
