  Last spring in Yellowstone, I followed a path that took me through a dark forest. When I finally stepped out of the trees, the view was breathtaking. While I was concentrating on photographing this amazing scene, I suddenly had a feeling that I was being watched. Slowly, and with the camera still held to my eye, I turned. . . and froze. Only metres away from me was a bear. With water falling off its thick, brown hair, the bear stared back at me. Time stood still as the bear and I both waited to see who would move first. My legs started shaking. Somehow, I forced my finger to press the button. A second later, the bear turned and ran back into the forest. When I recovered from the shock, I looked at my camera. My most frightening but magical experience was now captured forever in a single image.
  From time to time I look at the photo as a reminder(提示) to show respect to all animals. It is after all we who are the visitors to their world.

1. 辅音字母h发/h/, 有时候在单词中也不发音。/h/是摩擦音、声门音和清辅音。发音方法:

②只在通过声门时形成轻微的摩擦, 舌头和嘴唇的位置随其后的元音而变化。
③发音时, 声带不震动。如: home, hello, hut, hand, hide, happy等。
注意: /h/是个清辅音, 声音不震动, 送气力量很大, 可以拿一张白纸放在嘴前, 感受一下气流。
2. 辅音字母g发/g/或/d /, /g/是爆破音、软腭音、浊辅音。发音方法:
①嘴巴张开, 将舌后部隆起, 紧贴软腭, 憋住气。
②然后舌后部迅速降低, 使气流冲出口腔。
③同时声带震动发出声音, 送气力量较弱。如: eagle, egg, lag, dig, glass, gate等。
注意: /g/是个浊辅音, 声带震动发声。

Ⅰ. 现在进行时表示将来时的含义: 现在进行时除了表示现在进行的动作, 还可以表示较近的将来, 常有“意图”“打算”“安排”之意。

【点拨迷津】
(1)现在进行时表示将来时, 这种用法比较生动, 给人一种期待感, 此时所使用的动词多是位移动词(短语), 如: come, go, leave, stay, arrive, fly, start, travel, walk, ride, drive, take off等。
(2)另外, 除使用上述表示位移的动词(短语), 还可以使用某些非位移动词, 如do, buy, meet, play, have, publish等, 此时句中要有表示将来的时间状语。
Ⅱ. 一般现在时表示将来, 分两种情形
1. 按规定像按时刻表、日程表的安排要发生的未来的动作, 仅限于go, come, leave, start, stay, return, begin, end, open, close等动词。
2. 用于状语从句中。
①New term begins on September 1st.
②I’ll write to you as soon as I get there.
③The train arrives at nine o’clock.
Ⅲ. 表“将来时”的其他表达法
1. will/shall do表达将来时, 强调对未来事情发生的一种“预见性”。will用于各种人称; 而shall仅用于第一人称。
①They will be here by eleven.
他们将于11点之前到达这儿。
②My son will come back this evening.
我儿子今晚将回来。
【点拨迷津】
(1)表示将来的will通常不用于时间、条件、让步状语从句中, 而是用一般现在时代替。
(2)if引导的条件状语从句中使用will时, 不表示将来, 而是表示意愿。

如果你愿意听我说, 我就告诉你真相。
2. be going to do表示将来, 在口语中常用来表示已经决定或安排要做的事情, 还可以表示说话者根据现在的迹象或征兆“预测”不久即将发生的事情。

②I am going to gather some materials about English plays.
我打算搜集一些有关英语戏剧的材料。
3. be to do 表示按计划约定的或按职责、义务、要求必须去做的事或即将发生的动作。

你应当9点以前回来。
②We are to meet at the school gate.
我们将在校门口碰头。
4. be about to do结构
(1)表示眼前的将来, 不能和at ten, in an hour等时间状语连用, 意为“就要做; 正要做”。
(2)be about to do. . . when. . . 是固定句式, 意为“正要做……这时……”。
①You’d better fasten your seat belt. The plane is about to take off.
你最好系好安全带, 飞机马上就要起飞了。
②I was about to go to bed when the telephone rang.
我刚要上床睡觉, 这时电话响了。
常温故·勤总结
将来时表达有五种, will/shall do用法最单纯;
be going to加动原, 表计划将来和打算;
be to do用法也好记, 表职责约定和要求。
be doing的用法记心中, 常指意图打算近未来;
还有be about to do这一种, 表眼前的将来要记牢。
