Do You Want to Be a Volunteer in the Palace Museum in Beijing （Reading I）
With a history of over 600 years, the Palace Museum in Beijing receives over 19 million visitors from home and abroad each year. It acts as a place for people to learn about Chinese history and culture. In order to offer better service to visitors, we need people who are helpful, patient and responsible, people who are willing to serve the public, people who love and have a good knowledge of Chinese history and culture, and people who are skilled in communication and organization.
The volunteer work includes: 1. introducing the architecture and exhibits to visitors; 2. guiding visitors during busy seasons; 3. answering questions; 4. doing some simple repair work; 5. doing some cleaning.
Anyone who is aged 20–60, healthy and can speak Chinese or English is welcome to apply.
If you are interested and enthusiastic, fill in the electronic application form online. You will be informed when and where to have a written test and an interview. We are looking forward to your participation.
