Dear Richard,
My parents and I are planning to go to Beijing to spend the Spring Festival. Beijing is our capital city, which is so amazing that I can’t wait to go. To me, the Great Wall is unbelievable, and you know it was built a few thousand years ago and is still one of the wonders of the world.
We’re also planning to visit several other places in Beijing. My dad and I are both looking forward to going to the Palace Museum and the Summer Palace, without visiting which you can never say you’ve been to Beijing. And we are also going to the famous Beijing hutong for a visit, which stands for the traditional culture of the original Beijing. Finally, Peking Opera will be another feast for us to enjoy.
In a word, Beijing is well worth visiting, and I’m looking forward to your coming next year.
