含蓄条件句:虚拟或假设的条件通过with、without、but for、or、otherwise、suppose/ supposing等介词(短语)、副词(短语)或其他形式表示。

错综时间条件句:主句动作发生的时间与从句动作发生的时间不一致。
规则:主句和从句各自的谓语形式根据它们动作发生的时间作适当调整。
(1)主句的动作与现在的事实相反,从句的动作与过去的事实相反
e.g. If you had followed my advice, you would finish the task now.
如果你当时听了我的建议,你现在就能完成这个任务了。

错综时间条件句:主句动作发生的时间与从句动作发生的时间不一致。
规则:主句和从句各自的谓语形式根据它们动作发生的时间作适当调整。

e.g. If they had left home in the early morning, they would arrive in one hour.

(4)would rather引导的从句
谓语动词常用虚拟语气,其中,表示与现在事实相反或者将来发生的可能性较小的情况时,谓语动词用过去式(be用were);表示与过去事实相反的情况时,谓语动词用过去完成时,即“had+过去分词”。
e.g. I would rather you left now.
我宁愿你现在离开。
