3.plenty of的用法
plenty of是常用短语,意为“许多的;大量的”,既可修饰可数名词复
数,也可修饰不可数名词。

For visitors to Guizhou,there are plenty of places to experience its culture.对到贵州的游客来说,有很多地方可以体验它的文化。
[注意] plenty of表示数量充足,强调能满足需求;a lot of 和 lots of也表示“许多”,但不一定表示足够。

4.arrive的用法
arrive为不及物动词,意为“到达;抵达”。arrive late for相当于be late for,为固定短语,意为“迟到”。

6.What’s...like 的用法
“What’s...like ”意为“……是什么样子的 ”,常用来询问某人或某物的性格、品行;询问人的相貌通常用“What does sb.look like ”。
