Methods of learning English
Here are my methods of learning English. First, I usually watch English movies and listen to English songs. I think it’s a relaxing way to learn the correct pronunciation and proper expressions. Second, reading passages on the same topic helps a lot in learning new words. In this way, the new words can be repeated and I can understand their meanings better. What’s more, it’s a good habit to keep a diary in English. That helps me think in English and improve my writing skills as well.
English is a bridge which connects the world and us. It’s interesting to learn it. I hope I can make greater progress in the future.

My favourite season
Hello, everyone!
Spring is my favourite season. It’s not too cold or too hot. It’s usually warm and sunny. Everything grows in nature. Trees turn green and flowers come out. Bees and butterflies play among flowers. Different colours of the flowers make our city more beautiful. At the weekend, I always invite my friends to do some outdoor activities. Sometimes we fly kites when it is windy. We run happily on the grass and feel very excited. Moreover, we can go on a trip to a hill or have picnics on sunny days. That’s the best part of spring.

Humans live together with wild animals on the earth, but many of them are in danger. For example, giant pandas may not have a place to live or food to eat because the bamboo forests are becoming smaller and smaller. Wolves have fewer and fewer living areas. Tigers and bears face danger because humans hunt them for their fur, bones and other parts of their body.
We protect wild animals not only because wild animals are our friends but also because wild animals help keep a balance between humans and nature. If there are no wild animals, there will be no humans.
Therefore, we must take actions to save wild animals. First, we shouldn’t buy fur coats any more. Second, we should call on everybody to know the importance of wildlife. Last but not least, the government should make laws to protect animals.

When talking about seasons, people hold different ideas. I like summer best because crops grow quickly and we can always enjoy ice cream. People like to take photos to record the beautiful sights and share with others.

How to Learn English Well
Last week, our grade made a survey (调查)—How do you learn English well We interviewed about 100 students. Here is the result (结果).
30 people think that they should read more English words and recite more English articles. 16 people believe that they should make friends with foreigners, often talk to them in English, write letters and send emails in English in order that they can learn English better. 15 people think that they should read English newspapers and magazines. 20 people think that English programs and foreign movies are helpful. 19 people believe that they should keep English diaries every day to master English.
In my opinion, only by practicing more can we really improve our English and learn it well.

One Earth, One Home
The earth is home to both humans and wild animals. But today wild animals are facing serious problems because of humans.On the one hand, people often cut down trees and forests for money. On the other hand, people kill animals for their fur or bones. So many animals are in danger. It’s time for us to save the earth and the wild animals. If we take some actions to protect our earth and animals in time, our earth will become comfortable for us to live in and the animals can live peacefully as they wish. But if we don’t, everything will beyond our imagination.
First, as students, we can try to be volunteers and do from little things. What’s more, we shouldn’t buy fur coats any more. Last but not least, we are supposed to educate more people to realize the importance of protecting earth and loving the animals.
Let’s act together to make a more beautiful home for us human and animals as well.
