Continuation Writing 读后续写
——以高考大纲样题为例
一、分析题型：
[选材特点] 1. 所需阅读的短文词数在350 以内;
2. 记叙文故事类文章为主， 故事情节有有起 伏，但线索的逻辑性较强。
[注意事项] 1. 续写部分为两段，每段的开头语已写好;
2. 所续写短文词数应为150 词左右;
每段写4-6句话即可；
3. 答题卡上每段之后会有7行横线给学生作答，
最好先在在草稿纸上列好提纲, 再作答。
二、写作步骤和方法技巧：
Keep these below in mind
1. 通读阅读材料, 找出六要素（when、where、who、why、what、how） ；
2. 理清文章脉络 ；
3. 研读续写所给第一段和第二段开头，找出隐含新人物、新地点;
4. 紧扣原文，写出故事情节的发展和变化，呈现正能量结局。

三个原则
1. 原文一致原则
续写内容要前后衔接，上下连贯，保持时态一致、人物一致、事件一致及语言表达风格一致。讲故事基本都在用一般过去时，那续写也应使用一般过去时。
2. 曲折性原则
凡是故事都应有跌宕起伏或矛盾冲突，其中人物会遇到困难或问题，但最终都能解决。但情节设计不能过于复杂或离奇，否则阅卷老师便不能快速读懂你想表达的内容。
3. 正能量原则
故事内容一定要传递正能量，围绕 “真善美” 的大主题去设计情节，弘扬社会主义核心价值观。
如 迷路了但最终一定回到了家;失败了或遇到困难了,最终一定成功了;吵架了，最后一定是言归于好,和睦相处;犯错了,最后一定会改过自新,重新做人;贼逃了,最后一定是被绳之以法。

方法小结：
A funny thing happened to Arthur when he was on the way to work one day. As he walked along Park Avenue near the First National Bank, he heard the sound of someone trying to start a car. He tried again and again but couldn't get the car moving. Arthur turned and looked inside at the face of a young man who looked worried. Arthur stopped and asked, "It looks like you've got a problem, " Arthur said.
"I'm afraid so. I'm in a big hurry and I can't start my car."
三、考纲样题解析：阅读下面短文，根据所给情节进行续写，使之构成一个完整的故事。（25分）
"Is there something I can do to help "Arthur asked. The young man looked at the two suitcases in the back seat and then said, "Thanks. If you're sure it wouldn't be too much trouble, you could help me get these suitcases into a taxi."
"No trouble at all. I'd be glad to help."
The young man got out and took one of the suitcases from the back seat. After placing it on the ground, he turned to get the other one. Just as Arthur picked up the first suitcase and started walking, he heard the long loud noise of an alarm. It was from the bank. There had been a robbery(抢劫)！
Park Avenue had been quiet a moment before. Now the air was filled with the sound of the alarm and the shouts of people running from all directions. Cars stopped and the passengers joined the crowd in front of the bank. People asked each other , "What happened "But everyone had a different answer.
Arthur, still carrying the suitcase, turned to look at the bank and walked right into the young woman in front of him.
She looked at the suitcase and then at him. Arthur was surprised. "Why is she looking at me like that " He thought. "The suitcase! She thinks I'm the bank thief!"
Arthur looked around at the crowd of people. He became frightened, and without another thought, he started to run.

1. Just as Arthur helped pick up the first suitcase and started walking, he heard an alarm.
2. There had been a robbery of the bank.
1. Park Avenue the air was filled with the sound of the alarm and the shouts of people from all directions.
2. Arthur carrying the suitcase was seen as the bank thief. He was frightened and started to run.

Step 4: Make predictions （乌龙闹剧）
Paragraph l:
As he was running, Arthur heard the young man shouting behind. " Stop, stop !"
· Arthur 意识到这个男人可能是小偷。
· Arthur 没停下继续跑。
· Arthur 找到出租车，上了出租车，跟出租车司机说去警察局。
· 出租车很快开向警察局 。
Paragraph 1:
As he was running, Arthur heard the young man shouting behind, "Stop, stop! " Thinking of the way the young man had behaved, he realized the young man might be the bank thief. So Arthur ran faster and stopped a taxi. The moment he got into the taxi, he told the driver the man shouting behind was the bank thief and asked him to drive to the nearest police station. The driver followed what Arthur said and drove away.
Paragraph 2:
The taxi stopped in front of the Police Station and Arthur...
· Arthur 下车·把箱子给警察。
· 他给讲得到箱子的过程。
· 那个年轻人小偷被抓。
· 结果闹了乌龙，很尴尬。但他的勇敢被表扬了。
Paragraph 2:
The taxi stopped in front of the Police Station and Arthur thanked the driver and directly went in. Just as Arthur was describing what had happened to the police, he heard a voice outside, "Help! Help! " To the surprise of Arthur, it was the young man. He had followed Arthur in another taxi. It turned out that the young man was innocent and inside the suitcases were just some of his clothes. Arthur felt embarrassed, but the police thanked him anyway.
