What is “the Age of Majority”
The age of majority is a legal term used to describe the age at which a minor (未成年人) is no longer considered such. Instead, for all intents and purposes, when a person passes this age, he or she is treated as an adult with adult responsibilities. At this age, the legal control of his or her parents or guardians ceases. The age of majority means the moment when you turn 18, which is a milestone marking the start of adulthood.
