一、概念
一般将来时表示将来某个时间要发生的动作或存在的状态。

情况 常见结构 will be going to
肯定句 主语 + will + v. + 其他. 主语 + be going to + v. + 其他.
否定句 主语 + will +not+ v. + 其他. 主语 + be not going to + v. + 其他.
一般疑问句 Will + 主语 + v. + 其他 be + 主语 + going to + v. + 其他
肯定回答 Yes, 主语 + will. Yes, 主语 + be.
否定回答 No, 主语 + won’t. No, 主语 + be not.
现在进行时（be doing结构）表示将来。
一般将来时
注意：“助动词shall+动词原形”也可用于表示一般将来时，但是 shall只限第一人称使用。
e.g. I shall be free this afternoon. 我今天下午有空。

四、用法
1、be going to的用法：
（1）表示说话者经过事先考虑，打算做某事，e.g. I’m going to visit my uncle tomorrow. 我打算明天拜访我叔叔。/ He is going to be a doctor when he grows up. 他打算长大后要当医生。
（2）根据客观情况判断即将发生某事。
e.g. Look at the dark clouds in the sky. It’s going to rain soon. 看天上的乌云，快要下雨了。

2、助动词will+动词原形结构的用法
（1）will强调没有经过计划而临时出现的意图，常体现说话者的主观意愿；e.g.Will you help me look after my dog 你能帮我照看一下狗吗？/ No problem, I will help you. 没问题，我会帮你的。
（2）will还可以表示看法，往往用在从句中（I think / believe / am sure … will …）。
e.g. I’m sure they will win the match. 我确信他们会赢得比赛。
（3） 表示事物的固有属性或必然趋势、倾向。
e.g. Flowers will die without water. 没有水花会枯死的。

3.be doing结构的用法：
表示按计划、安排即将发生的事，这种安排不容随意改变。
e.g. l am moving out this weekend.周末我将搬出去。
现在进行时表示将来，常与go、come、leave、start、arrive等一些表示位置转移的动词连用，还有return、work、sleep、stay、do have等动词连用。
e.g. The train is arriving in five minutes.火车将在5分钟后到达。
