Technology is developing so fast that many things commonly used in the past have faded out of sight today. Let’s compare three of the things used in the past with those we use today.
The first televisions could only show black and white pictures, but nowadays we have colour televisions which show us clear and colourful scenes.
In the past, when people wanted to communicate with others, they wrote letters and waited for weeks for responses. Now the Internet enables us to email people instantly, even when they are thousands of miles away.
People used to carry big bags of film rolls with them when travelling, but now they put digital cameras or mobile phones in their pockets, and can take almost as many pictures as they want to.
