　　People in English speaking countries put given name before family name. But we Chinese always put family name before given name. Family names are so important to us because they tell who our ancestors (祖先) are and where we are from. However, the ways of addressing (称呼) people are the same in English and in Chinese. We can address people by their full names. For example, Yuan Longping and Winston Churchill.
