2. regret + doing sth. “后悔做过某事”(动作已发生,强调 “已完成的遗憾”)
eg:He regrets missing the important meeting.他后悔错过了重要会议。
eg:I regret not studying hard when I was young.我后悔年轻时没努力学习。
3. regret + to do sth.“很遗憾要做某事”(动作未发生,强调 “即将发生的遗憾”),常见搭配为 regret to say/tell/inform。
