This term, I'm studying various(各种各样的) subjects like math, social studies, science, Chinese, art, PE, music and of course, English. Among(在...中) them, English is absolutely(绝对地) my favourite.
There are three reasons why I love it most. Firstly, English connects(连接) me with people all over the world. It's amazing to understand(明白) English videos or songs without(没有) translation(翻译)! Secondly, our English classes are always full of(充满) games and interesting stories.
The most special reason is that English is like a key. It opens a door to a different world for me. For example, when I learn a new word, I also learn about the culture(文化) behind it. This makes me see the world in a new way(方式).
In short(简而言之), English is more than a subject, and that’s why it’s so special for me.
