“ as soon as ”表示“一……就……”,引导时间状语从句,强调主句动作与从句动作发生的时间间隔极短。
时态搭配:
1. 主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时表将来(“主将从现”)。
例:I will call you as soon as I arrive at the airport.(我一到机场就给
你打电话。)
2. 主句用一般过去时,从句也用一般过去时(“主过从过”)。
例:She started cooking as soon as her husband came back.(丈夫一回
来,她就开始做饭了。)

1.完成句子。

so + 形容词/副词 + that 从句:表示“如此……以至于……”,
that引导结果状语从句。
例:She is so kind that everyone likes her. (她如此善良,以至于每
个人都喜欢她。)
否定与倒装:当 so 置于句首时,主句需用部分倒装。
例:So tired was he that he fell asleep immediately.(他如此疲惫,
以至于立刻睡着了。)
特殊结构:so + 形容词 + a/an + 可数名词单数 + that 从句
例:It is so beautiful a city that I want to visit it again.(这座城市
如此美丽,以至于我想再去一次。)
