Located in western China's Gansu Province, Dunhuang Mogao Caves were cut a cliff 25 kilometers southeast to Dunhuang, on a mount called Mingsha. The caves are regarded the biggest and the longest preserved Buddhist art treasures, with more than 46,000 square meters of frescoes (壁画) in 735 caves, which show Buddha's images and behaviour, and the relationship between Buddha and men. Dancing images in Dunhuang frescoes are a brilliant jewel for all human beings.

The Publicity Activity of the Great Wall
Last Sunday every student and teacher in our school was working together to hold a publicity activity of the Great Wall.
The Great Wall, which is the great construction throughout the history of human civilization, was praised as the Eighth Wonder of the World many years ago. By sharing the story of the Great Wall between teachers and students, this publicity campaign hopes to promote even wider interest around the world in China’s ancient history, culture, and traditions.
The activity was highly thought of, because not only did it provide a chance for us to increase knowledge about China’s history, but was also of great importance to appreciate cultural heritage.

Last Sunday witnessed an extraordinary publicity activity of the Great Wall, which nearly drew the attention of every student and teacher of our school.
Today, the Great Wall is just as the symbol of Chinese civilization as they were at ancient times. As a well-known Chinese saying which is on the wall says, “Never being to the Great Wall is not a true man.”
