Dear Vivian,
I traveled to the Great Wall in Beijing and it was an awesome experience.
We started out early by coach, we climbed up the massive stone steps. My dad took photos of every ancient watchtower we passed, while my mom and I walked along the wall, enjoying the view.
What impressed me most was the spectacular scenery from the top: the Great Wall wound like a giant dragon across the winding mountains. The sound of footsteps on the stone bricks seemed to tell the stories of ancient times.
This trip took my breath away. I was astonished by the grandeur of this world-famous structure and felt deeply proud of our ancestors’ wisdom. It was a pleasant and meaningful journey.
Yours,
Tom

Dear Vivian,
During the summer holiday, with great excitement, I visited one of the most famous tourist sights in Beijing---the Great Wall.
I arose early to take the coach to the Great wall, which is located in the north-west of Beijing. As is typical of Beijing, it was mild and clear. Seen from the top, the rolling hills and forests looked massive, which took my breath away with its exceptional beauty. What impressed me most was the cultural heritage site dating back to over 3000 years. In addition to seeing spectacular mountain peaks and forests, one highlight of my trip was being able to buy various crafts and antiques.
Looking at the impressive scenery, I agreed that it was the most awesome journey I had ever taken.
Yours,
Tom
