This fable aims to convey the importance of taking respon-sibility in society. It shows that when faced with pro-blems (represented by the stone), many people tend to complain or be indifferent, but only those who take the initiative to solve the problem, like the girl, are truly valuable. It encourages us to be responsible individuals, not to shirk responsibilities, and to take action to make our community and society better. Also, it im-plies that goodness and a sense of responsibility will eventually be rewarded, as the girl found the gold under the stone.
The girl is a responsible and kind - hearted person. Despite her fatigue, she didn't hesitate to move the stone that blocked the road, showing her selflessness and the willingness to take on the responsibility of making the road safer for others. She is not motivated by personal gain at first, but rather by a sense of doing what is right. Her actions demonstrate her moral integrity and altruistic spirit.
In life, the “stone” can refer to various difficulties, obstacles, or problems that we encounter. These could be challenges in our studies, such as difficult assignments or exams; problems in our interpersonal relationships, like conflicts with friends or family; or broader social issues that we come across. Just like the stone in the story, these difficulties may seem like obstacles that are in our way, and how we respond to them reveals our character and values.
The “milkman” and “woman” represent those who are self - centered and irresponsible in life. When faced with the problem of the stone on the road, they only focused on their own inconvenience and reacted with complaints and indifference. They didn't take any action to solve the problem but chose to avoid it or simply express dissatisfaction. In real - life situations, they are the kind of people who tend to shirk responsibilities, are not willing to make efforts to solve common problems, and only care about their own interests and feelings.
