★句型no matter how... 意为“不管如何”，在此引导让步状语从句，相当于however。类似的还有whatever / no matter what，whoever / no matter who，whenever / no matter when等，均可引导让步状语从句。

No matter how / However hard he works, he finds it difficult to make ends meet.
无论他多么努力地工作，总是入不敷出。

double v. 加倍；是......的两倍 adj. 两倍的；加倍的
(1) double在此处为不及物动词，意为“加倍；是......的两倍”。它还可作及物动词，其后可直接跟宾语。

(2) double还可作形容词，意为“两倍的；加倍的”。
My colleague is off today, so I have to do double work.

shall modal v. 将要；将会
shall在此处用作情态动词，意为“将要；将会”，通常与第一人称连用。其过去式为should。
