1.The highlight of this exhibition is the painting Clearing After Snow on a Mountain Pass, one of the great works of Tang Yin(1470-1524).
* Some of the items on display are thought to have come from the collection of Emperor Qianlong (1711-1799), a great admirer of Shang Dynasty bronze.
2. Born during the Ming Dynasty, Tang sought and failed to gain entry into the civil service, so he turned to painting instead.

Announcement
Aiming to promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture, our school will organize a visit to Chinese Art Exhibition, which is scheduled to be held in the museum from 2:00 to 5:00 pm next Tuesday.
The exhibition displays a collection of calligraphy works and some classical paintings, ranging from ink wash paintings to landscape paintings. The highlight of the exhibition is the ink wash paintings created by Tang Yin, which is fresh and full of life. Also of primary note is the calligraphy works by Wang Xizhi. As planned, students are expected to gather at school gate at 1:30 pm on time. Note that no photos, food and drink are allowed in the museum.

In order to make people have a better understanding of
Chinese ink wash painting, an exhibition will be held from 9 am
to 5 pm on May 1st in our city art gallery.
Not only will some famous artists give live performances
of their painting skills, but also there will be many excellent
works of various styles in the exhibition. Furthermore, a professor
from Beijing will give a lecture on the history of Chinese ink
wash painting. In a word, the exhibition is well worth a visit.
During the visit, be sure to keep quiet and keep the
gallery clean please.
