【解析】
alone 形容词或副词 独自,单独强调客观上的 “独自一人”,没有同伴,不带任何感彩,只是陈述一种状态。
同义短语:on one’s own 和 by oneself.

She was alone that night. 她那晚独自一个人。
lonely 形容词 寂寞的,孤单的,强调主观上的 “孤独感、寂寞感”,带有负面情绪;也可形容地方 “偏僻的、荒凉的”。

4.if 的用法:
①如果,假如,引导条件状语从句。此时,从句通常用一般现在时表示一般将来时。
