A Dispute with My Friend and Its Solution
Last month, my friend Tom and I had a big fight because he missed our group project meeting. I tried calling him, but his phone was out of service, and he didn’t check my messages. I felt angry and blamed him, so we didn’t talk for three days.
Jenny, our classmate, advised us to communicate face to face. We met at her home, and Tom explained he was helping his sick grandma. I realized I was too impatient, and we apologized to each other.
This experience taught me that disputes can’t be solved by anger. We should listen to each other, or misunderstandings will grow. True friendship needs care and communication.
