I’m Jim. I’m happy to share with you about my uncle’s daily life.
My uncle is a firefighter. He works in shifts with other teammates. They put out fires, save people from burning buildings, and help with other emergencies.
When my uncle is on duty, he gets up at 6:00 in the morning and gets to the fire station by 7:30. Then, he checks the equipment and fire trucks with his teammates. During the day, emergency calls can come in at any time. When there is a call, he works closely with other firefighters and acts quickly to keep people safe.
Jim’s uncle is a firefighter.

Jim is proud of his uncle’s job.

Between calls, he does many other things. He has lessons, practises firefighting skills, trains for emergencies and cleans the fire station. He also checks buildings and other public places to make sure they are safe. For lunch and dinner, he enjoys eating with his teammates like a big family.
At the end of the day, he reports everything to his team leader and gets ready for the next day. It’s a busy job, but he is proud of it. He is happy to help keep our city safe. We are all very proud of him.
