This was West Central in the early2000s, a neighborhood of middle-class people born and raised by the tracks, people who never dreamed of leaving. Much has changed since then.Luxury apartments have replaced the rusted trains. It's barely snowed three inches this month.Outside my window, another cold rain slaps Spofford Avenue. The park across the street is empty, a mess of dead-brown grass and dry leaves. In my dreams, though, I see drifts of snow that are deep and blue enough to bury the moon. These are dreams of boyhood, of the gang of neighborhood boys who defined it. Back then, a couple feet of snow meant no school, and we played football every day.Snow Bowls, as I remember them, were wild, violent events, a cross between sport and warfare. Without helmets or pads, we occasionally knocked each other unconscious. We broke wrists and bit ankles.
On snow days, we gathered on the big field behind our high school, where we'd pick teams, four or five a side. The captains were always the same. Matt Moore was a Captain because he was faster and stronger than the rest of us and actually had experience playing organized football. Jimmy White was the other because he brought the football, and he believed supplying the equipment somehow gave him the right.
The games were untimed and there were hardly any rules. We played until the snow melted under our feet, or until someone got seriously hurt. The best Snow Bowls occurred when snow was still falling, covering our tracks and silencing the world around us. In the evenings, we'd play under the field lights, feeling like pros.
Two decades later, I'm the only former Snow Bowler who still resides in Spokane. The ones who moved away like to ask me for updates on home, as if our city is an elderly relative dying from cancer, and I'm the lone caregiver. I always steer (弓|导) our conversations back to the weather, especially the startling lack of snow this winter.
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。
Paragraph 1: Last weekend, someone floated the idea of a 20-year high school reunion.
Paragraph 2: We hurried outside, and sure enough, snow was coming down in thick sheets.

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
This was West Central in the early2000s, a neighborhood of middle-class people born and raised by the tracks(过去分词短语做后置定语/独立主格), people who never dreamed of leaving(伏笔). Much has changed since then(过渡句). Luxury apartments have replaced the rusted trains. It's barely snowed three inches this month.
Outside my window, another cold rain slaps Spofford Avenue(无灵主语句). The park across the street is empty, a mess of dead-brown grass and dry leaves(同位语补充描写).In my dreams, though, I see drifts of snow that are deep and blue enough to bury the moon(有点夸张).These are dreams of boyhood, of the gang of neighborhood boys who defined it. Back then, a couple feet of snow meant no school, and we played football every day.
Snow Bowls, as I remember them, were wild, violent events, a cross between sport and warfare. Without helmets or pads, we occasionally knocked each other unconscious. We broke wrists and bit ankles.

The games were untimed and there were hardly any rules. We played until the snow melted under our feet, or until someone got seriously hurt. The best Snow Bowls occurred when snow was still falling, covering our tracks and silencing the world around us(现在分词短语做后置定语). In the evenings, we'd play under the field lights, feeling like pros(现在分词短语做伴随动作).
Two decades later(时间变化), I'm the only former Snow Bowler who still resides in Spokane. The ones who moved away like to ask me for updates on home, as if our city is an elderly relative dying from cancer(现在分词短语做伴随动作), and I'm the lone caregiver. I always steer (弓|导) our conversations back to the weather, especially the startling lack of snow this winter.

六、 Possible Versions(4)Version 1 Paragraph 1
Last weekend, someone floated the idea of a 20-year high school reunion.
The suggestion spread quickly, pulling us out of our separate lives and back into a shared past(现在分词短语做伴随动作). Messages piled up, half jokes and half disbelief, until plans began to take shape. When we finally gathered, time seemed to soften its grip(无灵主语句). Familiar faces looked older, yet strangely unchanged. Matt still carried himself with the quiet confidence of a captain, and Jimmy, true to form, talked more than anyone else. We laughed about jobs, families, and aches that had replaced bruises. Someone mentioned the weather, and I repeated my usual complaint about Spokane winters losing their edge. Outside, the sky hung low and gray(无灵主语句), as if listening. We were mid-conversation when the room suddenly went quiet. Someone pointed toward the window, voice rising with surprise(独立主格)—snow was falling at last.
Paragraph 2
We hurried outside, and sure enough, snow was coming down in thick sheets.
Without a word, we headed toward the old field behind our high school, moving(现在分词做伴随动作)slower than we once had but smiling all the same. Jimmy brought out a football we still didn’t know from where, and Matt naturally took charge, keeping things simple(现在分词短语做伴随动作). No tackling, no rushing—just passing, laughing, and catching our breath. For a short while, the years loosened their hold(无灵主语句). Eventually, the cold crept in, reminding us of our limits.(现在分词短语做伴随动作) We dusted off the snow and went our separate ways. Later that night, back home, I stood by my window watching the snowfall settle. Somewhere out there, I imagined new boys choosing teams. The snow would melt, but the memory stayed, warm and quietly complete.
Version 2
Paragraph 1
Last weekend, someone floated the idea of a 20-year high school reunion.
The idea felt unreal at first, like a message meant for someone else(过去分词做后置定语). Yet replies came quickly(倒装句), filled with excitement and hesitation in equal measure(过去分词做后置定语). When we met, the years between us shrank in unexpected ways. We noticed the changes—slower steps, softer laughter—but also the familiar rhythms beneath them. Matt still listened more than he spoke. Jimmy still claimed responsibility for anything involving a football. Stories circled the room(无灵主语句), touching briefly on the past(现在分词短语做后置定语)before drifting back to the present. I joked about how winters used to be colder, louder, better. The sky outside darkened, the rain thinning into something quieter(独立主格). Just as someone teased me for always talking about snow, a shout cut through the room(无灵主语句). We turned together. Snow was falling.
Paragraph 2
We hurried outside, and sure enough, snow was coming down in thick sheets.
It felt natural to walk toward the field we all remembered, even if we no longer ran. The Snow Bowl game we played now was careful and slow—short passes, easy catches, plenty of pauses. No one needed rules explained(过去分词短语做后置定语). We were there to feel it, not to prove anything. After a while, the cold settled into our bones, and we laughed at how quickly it chased us away. I drove home alone, snow brushing the windshield(独立主格). Parking outside my house(现在分词短语做伴随动作), I sat for a moment, letting the quiet sink in(现在分词短语做伴随动作). The snow didn’t just bring back our youth, my memory of boyhood; it reminded me of our friendship, feeling young again, even if only for a moment.
Version 3
Paragraph 1
Last weekend, someone floated the idea of a 20-year high school reunion. At first, it sounded unreal, like a joke that had arrived twenty years too late. Still, the group chat grew active, filled with familiar names and unexpected enthusiasm(过去分词做后置定语). When we finally met, the years between us seemed to shrink with every shared story. We talked about work and families, about how the city had changed, and about how strange it felt to be back. Someone mentioned how winters used to feel longer, colder, more exciting. I laughed and said Spokane hardly saw real snow anymore. The words had barely left my mouth(无灵主语句) when a voice cut through the room, surprised and almost childlike(adj做补语), announcing(现在分词短语做伴随动作) that snow had begun to fall outside.
Paragraph 2
We hurried outside, and sure enough, snow was coming down in thick sheets. The sight alone felt like a gift. Before anyone could think better of it, we headed toward the familiar field following our Captain Matt, where countless afternoons had once disappeared. We tossed the football Jimmy had brought back and forth, moving carefully, aware of stiff joints and tired legs(adj做主语补语). There was no tackling, no competition—just laughter and breath rising in white clouds(独立主格). After a short while, the cold pushed us back(无灵主语句). Later, sitting alone at home(现在分词短语做伴随动作), I watched the snow continue to fall. I thought about how youth fades, but certain moments return when least expected. With a smile touching my lip, I realized that youth doesn’t stay, but friendships leave marks that time can’t erase. For this evening, snow had brought it all back.
【参考范文】
Last weekend, someone floated the idea of a 20-year high school reunion. At first, we hesitated, but within hours the group chat lit up with yeses. And as if to sweeten the deal(状从压缩), the forecast called for lots of snow in Spokane(为后文伏笔). Flights were booked, and by this weekend we were finally together again, grinning at familiar faces(现在分词短语做伴随动作) that time had edited but not erased(无灵主语句). Matt was still faster and stronger than the rest of us. Some of us had thinning hair and others had beer bellies and high blood pressure(真是把杀猪刀), but we still looked like boys in each other's eyes. We traded stories, and I complained — again — about the lack of snow, until suddenly someone shouted, “ It's snowing! ”
We hurried outside , and sure enough, snow was coming down in thick sheets . We erupted with joy. Jimmy White produced a football, of course, and we made it to the big field behind our high school. Matt and Jimmy were still captains. Too old to tackle(adj做主语补语), we wrapped each other in bear hugs, squeezing the breath out of one another's lungs(现在分词短语做伴随动作). Everyone laughed. Eventually, the cold won, and we drifted back inside, clapping snow from our sleeves(现在分词短语做伴随动作). Later, as I drove home, I found myself scanning vacant lots and schoolyards, imagining some new crew picking teams for a Snow Bowl(现在分词短语做伴随动作). The snow returned for the weekend and so did my boyhood.
