present continuous：现在进行时表示现在正在进行的动作或存在的状态, 由“be+V.-ing” , be应与主语的人称和数保持一致。

(1)Things are improving.
情况正在好转。
(2)The government is working hard to cut down pollution all
over the country.
政府正努力在全国范围内减少污染。

在实际运用时，现在进行时常用以下集中情况：
(1)They are planting trees now.
当句子中有now时, 标识说话时正在进行或发生的动作。
(2)Look! She is reading under the tree.
Listen, Sue is singing in the room.
以look, listen开头的句子, 提示我们动作正在进行, 使用现在进行时。

在实际运用时，现在进行时常用以下集中情况：
(3)He is writing a novel this year.
It is snowing these days.
表示当前一段时间或现阶段正在进行的工作, 且有this week, these days等时间状语, 要用现在进行时。
(4)有些动词不能用进行时, 如hear, sound, smell, love, need, mater等。

He is beginning to say something.
表示渐变的动词get, grow, become, turn, run, go, begin等, 用现在进行时表示将来时。
在实际运用时，现在进行时常用以下集中情况：

He is coming back tomorrow.
表示按计划、安排即将发生的动作, 用现在进行时表示即将要发生的动作, 常用的动词有arrive, come, go, leave, stay, start等。

六种使用现在进行时的情况：

Present continuous：“be+V.-ing” , be应与主语的人称和数保持一致。
(1) 当句子中有now时;
(2) 以look, listen开头的句子;
(3) 表示当前一段时间或现阶段正在进行的工作, 且有this week, these days等时间状语;
(4) 有些动词不能用进行时, 如hear, sound, smell, love, need, mater等;
(5) 表示渐变的动词get, grow, become, turn, run, go, begin等;
(6) 表示按计划、安排即将发生的动作, 用现在进行时表示即将要发生的动作, 常用的动词有arrive, come, go, leave, stay, start等。
