一、比较级的句型
A＋谓语＋比较级＋than＋B，表示“A比B……”。

我们老师比我们的个子高。
Our teacher is taller than us.

Tom比Jim工作努力。
Tom works harder than Jim.
二、比较级的规则变化
单音节形容词的比较级形式是在词尾er构成, great--greater
1
以-e结尾的单音节词的比较级是在词尾加r构成, wide--wider
2
以“ 辅音＋y”结尾的词, 其比较级是改y为_i_ , 再加上er构成, happy--happier
3
以一个辅音字母结尾其前面的元音字母发短元音的词, 其比较级是双写该辅音字母然后再加-er, big--bigger
4
双音节和多音节形容词的比较级需用more加在形容词前面来构成,
beautiful--more beautiful ; carefully--more carefully

三、比较级的不规则变化

四、比较级前可用
a little, a bit, a great deal, a lot, many, much, any等词语表示不定量, far, completely, still表示程度或更进一步。也可加上倍数、具体数量等表确切的比较。

She is much more beautiful than me. 她比我漂亮得多。

The house is twice bigger than that one. 这个房子比那个大两倍。
五、句型

表两者间较……的：the + 比较级+ of the two …
She is the taller of the two sisters. 她是俩姐妹中较高的那个。

The＋比较级＋主谓, the＋比较级＋主谓, 表示 “越……就越…… ”
（1）The more you study, the more you know. 你学的越多, 就知道的越多。
（2）The bigger the house is , the higher the price is. 房子越大, 价格越高。

形容词比较级 + and + 形容词比较级, 表示 “越来越…… ”
（1）It’s getting hotter and hotter. 天气越来越热了。
（2）China is getting stronger and stronger.中国越来越强大。
