1. 描述当前活动（现在进行时肯定句）：
I am reading a book. 我正在看书。
He/She is watching TV. 他/她正在看电视。
We/You/They are playing basketball. 我们/你们/他们正在打篮球。
My mother is cooking dinner in the kitchen. 我妈妈正在厨房做晚饭。
2. 询问当前活动：
— What are you doing (now) 你（现在）在做什么？
— I'm doing my homework. 我正在做作业。
— What is he/she doing 他/她在做什么？
— He is listening to music. 他正在听音乐。
— What are they doing 他们在做什么？
— They are cleaning the classroom. 他们正在打扫教室。
3. 电话交际用语：

三、 核心语法精讲
【重点1】现在进行时
1. 含义：表示现在（说话瞬间）或当前阶段正在进行的动作。
2. 构成：am/is/are + 动词的现在分词 (V-ing)
I am (I'm) working.
He/She/It is (He's/She's/It's) working.
We/You/They are (We're/You're/They're) working.
3. 动词现在分词 (V-ing) 的构成规则：
一般情况直接加 -ing: do → doing, read → reading
以不发音的 e 结尾，去 e 加 -ing: write → writing, make → making
以“辅元辅”结尾的重读闭音节，双写末尾辅音字母再加 -ing: run → running, swim → swimming
4. 句型转换：
否定句：在 am/is/are 后加 not。
I'm not watching TV. He isn't sleeping.
一般疑问句：将 am/is/are 提到主语前。
Are you cooking Is she reading
特殊疑问句：疑问词 + am/is/are + 主语 + V-ing…
What are you doing Where is he going
5. 标志词：now, right now, at the moment, look!, listen!, these days (现阶段) 等。
【重点2】现在进行时与一般现在时的区别
一般现在时：表示经常性、习惯性的动作或客观事实。
I usually go to school at 7:00. (习惯)
The sun rises in the east. (事实)
现在进行时：表示此时此刻正在发生的动作。
I am going to school now. (正在发生)
典型中考题：Listen! Someone _______ (sing) in the next room. (应用现在进行时 is singing)
四、 中考能力拓展与易错点提示
1. V-ing 形式拼写易错点：
lie (躺/说谎) → lying (需熟记)
die → dying
tie → tying
2. 某些动词通常不用于进行时：表示状态、感受、拥有、思维等动词，如 like, love, know, want, need, have (拥有), see, hear 等，通常用一般现在时而非现在进行时。 (I want some water. 而不是 I am wanting...)
3. 电话用语中 this 与 that 的用法：指自己用 this，指对方用 that。
