Horse riding is a popular activity where you learn to ride a horse. First, you need to wear a helmet(头盔) for safety. The rider sits on a saddle(马鞍) and uses reins(缰绳) to guide the horse. You learn how to start, stop, and turn the horse. Riding can be done for fun, in competitions, or as exercise. It helps improve balance and confidence. Being with horses also teaches
responsibility and patience. Many people enjoy it as a
hobby or sport because it is both exciting and relaxing.

I have many free-time activities, like painting, writing poems, and reading. But my favourite free-time activity is horse riding. When I was six, I visited my grandfather’s farm, and he took me to ride a horse. It was such an amazing experience! Now I ride my favourite horse, Nini, at his farm every weekend.
I love horse riding because I enjoy being in nature. Horse riding also helps me stay fit. But most importantly, it lets me spend time with Nini! She’s my best friend. She’s happy to see me whenever I visit, especially when I bring her some carrots for a snack! I’m lucky to have her in my life.

My favourite free-time activity is drawing. I find it fun to create my own little world on paper. I started this when I was seven. When I was little, my mother and I went to the library on weekends. There are all kinds of books there. I could choose the ones I like. I also borrowed books from my friends and exchanged our thoughts about the books.
