It’s Peter.
打电话的常用语，相当于“It’s Peter speaking.”。
打电话时，想表达“我”是谁，一般用“It’s...”或“This is...”，而不能用“I’m...”。

一般来说，比较重要的词都要重读，使这个词的发音响亮而清晰。实词一般重读，而虚词则不重读。在句子中需要重读的词通常有名词、动词、形容词、副词和数词等。冠词、连词、介词、助动词和人称代词等，一般不重读。这样就形成了词的轻重交替。
英语句子中的重读规则
Stress
1. 名词、动词、形容词、副词和数词在句中一般重读。
◆ He is a driver.
◆ They often run on the sports field.
◆ She is a kind teacher.
◆ Mike runs fast.
◆ I have nine books.
2. 冠词、连词和介词一般不重读。
（如下面句子中的画线词）

3. 情态动词、助动词、系动词在肯定的简略答语
中或构成否定式时需要重读，其他情况一般
不重读。
