二、过去进行时的结构

四、when&while的用法辨析
否定回答：No,主语+was/were+not.
l.when:在when引导的表示过去时间的时间状语从句中，从句
e.g.-Was she playing chess at that time
她那个时候正在的谓语动词可以是延续性动词，表示长动作，时态用过去进行时：
下棋吗？
也可以是非延续性动词，表示短动作，时态用一般过去时
-Yes,she was.-
是的.一No,she wasn't.
不，他没有.
e.g.When we arrived at the station,they were waiting for us.
