宾语从句的句法功能
(4)在it作形式宾语的结构中，hat引导的宾语从句是真正的宾语
在句子中起宾语作用的从句称为宾语从句，
时，that不能省略。
1.作动词的宾语：We knew that we should go home.
e.g.I think it is important that we exercise regularly to stay healthy.
2,作介词的宾语：They are talking about whether it will rain2.if/whether意为“是否”，不可省路，两者通常可以互换.
tomorrow.
e.g.I don't know whether/if they will leave tomorrow.
3.作系表结构的宾语：I am sure that he can come on time..
【注意】只能用whether的情况
二、宾语从句的连接词
()与or not连用：Idon't know whether he will come or not,.
1.that引导宾语从句时在从句中不充当成分，可省略。
(2)在介词后面：We are talking about whether we should go there..
c.g.I hope (that)he can understand me.
(③)在动词不定式前：He hasn't decided whether to go or not.
【注意】that不可省略的情况
3.疑问词引导的宾语从句
(I)当句中的动词后接多于两个山hal引学的宾谐从时.第一个(I)连接代词(what,who,whose,.whom,which等)在从句中
that可省，但后面的that不可省。
作主语、宾语、表语或定语，不可省咯
e.g.Joe said (that)Peter would take them by car,but that they mighte.g.We never know what will happen in the future.(what)
be late.
I know whose bag it is..(whose作定语)
(2)当主句的谓语动词与that宾语从句之问有插入语时，that一般(2)连接副词(when,where,how,why等)在从句中作状语，不
不可省。

e.g.We hope,if possible,that we can visit the Palace Museum again.e.g.I don't know how to answer the question.(how)
(3)当that从句是双宾语中的直接宾语时，that不可省.
