Last week witnessed a series of events about disaster prevention and mitigation (which were) held /launched by our school.
The events consisted of a professional lecture introducing theoretical knowledge and a workshop teaching survival skills in times of emergency. What impressed us most was an evacuation drill where we learned how to evacuate in order and protect ourselves when stuck in an earthquake.
Through the events, we have benefited a lot. They have not only raised our awareness of self-protection but also prepared us better for long-term disaster prevention.
