Tell the differences among the words.
1. slight, minor, tiny
Slight: small in degree or importance. (轻微的,少量的)
Example: a slight headache (not very bad)
Minor: not serious or important; opposite of "major". (较小的,次要的,轻微的)
Example: a minor problem (not a big problem)
Tiny: very small in size. (极小的,微小的)
Example: a tiny insect (very small physically)
Difference:Tiny is about physical size. Slight is about how strong something is. Minor is about importance.
Tell the differences among the words.
2. reduce, relax, ease
Reduce: make something smaller in amount or number. Example: reduce costs (make costs lower)
Relax: become less tense or make rules less strict.
Example: relax your muscles (make them loose)
Ease: make something less difficult or severe.
Example: ease pain (make pain less bad)
Difference:Reduce means decrease quantity. Relax means reduce tension or strictness. Ease means reduce difficulty or severity.
Tell the differences among the words.
3.victim, patient, sufferer
Victim: someone harmed by a crime, accident, or disease (harm comes from outside).
Example: accident victim
Patient: someone receiving medical treatment from doctors. Example: hospital patient
Sufferer: someone experiencing pain or problems (more general).
Example: allergy sufferer
Difference: Victim focuses on external harm. Patient focuses on medical care. Sufferer is broader about any kind of suffering.

4.accident, incident, occasion
Accident: unplanned event that causes damage or injury. Example: a car accident
Incident: an event, especially unusual or unpleasant.
Example: a strange incident at work
Occasion: a particular time or special event.
Example: a happy occasion (like a birthday)
Difference: Accident is unplanned and negative. Incident is more general (can be planned). Occasion is neutral or positive.
Tell the differences among the words.
5.urgency, emergency, seriousness
Urgency: need for immediate action.
Example: a sense of urgency (must act fast)
Emergency: serious, dangerous situation needing immediate action.
Example: medical emergency
Seriousness: quality of being important or severe.
Example: the seriousness of a problem
Difference: Urgency is about time (must act now). Emergency is about danger + immediacy. Seriousness is about importance (no time element).
