Store n.（大型）百货商店
【拓展】区分：shop 通常指较小的商店；department store 百货公司。

fast-food n.快餐
【拓展】fast-food restaurant (快餐店)。
Hamburgers are typical fast-food.

二、 Lesson 1 Changes in Our Town
Town n.镇，城镇
【拓展】规模大小一般是：city (城市) > town (城镇) > village (村庄)。

Traffic n.交通，路上行驶的车辆
【易错点】不可数名词。traffic jam (交通堵塞)；heavy traffic (交通拥挤)。

Neighbour n.邻居
【注意】美式拼写：neighbor。名词：neighbourhood (街区，居民区)。
Our neighbours are very friendly.

Away adv.（时间或空间上）离开，在（某距离）处
【拓展】run away (跑开)；far away (遥远的)。far away from... (离...很远)。
My school is five kilometres away from my home.
我的学校离我家五公里远。
Cheap adj.便宜的，廉价的
【拓展】反义词：expensive (昂贵的)。
The vegetables here are very cheap.
这里的蔬菜很便宜。
Everywhere adv. & pron. & conj.处处，到处
【拓展】相当于 here and there。
You can see shared bikes everywhere.
你到处都能看到共享单车。
Convenient adj.便利的，方便的，省事的
【易错点】通常主语是“物”。不能说 "I am convenient"。句型：It is convenient for sb. to do sth.
Online shopping is very convenient.
网上购物很方便。
三、 Lesson 2 Remembering the Past
Interview n. & v.采访，访问；面试
【拓展】interviewer (采访者)；interviewee (被采访者)。
I watched an interview with a famous writer.
我看了一个对著名作家的采访。
Celebrate vt. & vi.庆祝，庆贺
【拓展】名词：celebration (庆祝活动)。
We will celebrate his birthday tomorrow.
我们明天将庆祝他的生日。
Madam n.夫人，女士
【注意】对妇女的尊称，对应 sir。

Teenage adj.十几岁的，青少年的

Experience n.经历；经验
【易错点】作“经历”讲时是可数名词（an experience）；作“经验”讲时是不可数名词。
I had a wonderful experience in London.
我在伦敦有一次美妙的经历。
Example n.实例，例子
【注意】for example (例如)，常用作插入语。
Many animals live here, for example, monkeys.
许多动物住在这里，例如猴子。
Speech n.演讲，讲话
【拓展】动词：speak。搭配：give/make a speech (做演讲)。
He gave a speech at the meeting.
他在会议上发了言。
Unforgettable adj.难忘的，令人难忘的
【拓展】前缀 un- (不) + forget (忘记) + -able (可...的)。
It was an unforgettable trip.
那是一次难忘的旅行。
Amazed adj.大为惊奇的，惊讶的
【易错点】amazed 修饰人 (感到惊讶的)；amazing 修饰物 (令人惊讶的)。be amazed at... (对...感到惊讶)。

【拓展】动词：play。

Support v. & n.支持，拥护

【拓展】名词：person (人)。

【易错点】in front of (在物体外部的前面)；in the front of (在物体内部的前面)。

【注意】作主语时，谓语动词用单数。

Laugh vt. & vi.发笑；笑 n. 笑声
