（一） plateau / pl t / n. 高原
1、例句 My hometown is on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

2、文化背景 青藏高原被称为“世界屋脊” (the Roof of the World)。
（二） cloud /kla d/ n. 云
1、例句 The clouds are clean and soft.
云朵干净而柔软。
2、拓展 形容词：cloudy (多云的)。
（三） soft /s ft/ adj. 柔软的
1、例句 The clouds are like our white sheep, soft and lovely.
云朵像我们白色的绵羊，柔软可爱。
2、反义词 hard (硬的)。
