Talking
古代皇帝金銮宝座的正上方由水银制成的亮晶晶的圆球也称"轩辕镜"。在现今故宫中,凡是龙椅的正上方皆有"盘龙藻井",藻井上雕刻着一条龙,龙嘴下面叼着一个晶亮的圆球,称为"轩辕镜"。据说它是中国古代祖先"轩辕氏"制造的,可以分辨真假天子。袁世凯登基时,因为心虚害怕轩辕镜会掉下来砸死自己,于是下令将龙椅往后移了三米,现在在故宫中我们见到的龙椅仍旧是向后移三米摆放的。
轩辕镜
螭吻又叫鱼龙,鱼和龙的结合体,是古代传说龙生九子之一。九子中,螭吻被认为是来源于印度佛教。相传大约在南北朝时,由印度摩羯鱼随佛教传入后变化而来。龙头鱼身,形状像四脚蛇剪去了尾巴,这位龙子好在险要处东张西望,也喜欢吞火。其寓意在佛家为护法,有驱凶辟邪的作用。因其性情好望喜吞,人们常把它用作建筑物的装饰。
