She gives up her voice to get legs and goes to live on land. Sadly, the prince marries someone else, and the sea princess turns into foam.—“The Little Mermaid”A baby duck gets bullied by the other ducklings because they think he is ugly. However, when he grows up, he realizes he is a swan.—“The Ugly Duckling”The ruler of a country loves clothes. One day, two men trick him to buy “magic clothes that stupid people cannot see”. Everyone around him praises him for his clothes, and no one wants to tell the ruler that he’s been tricked. In the end, a child points out that the ruler isn’t wearing any clothes.—“The Emperor’s New Clothes”It is New Year’s Eve. A poor little girl is trying to sell matches on the street. Sadly, no one wants to buy them. It is very cold, but she is afraid that her father will beat her, so she doesn’t want to go home. To stay warm, she lights the matches one by one and thinks about her grandmother.
