即将;正要(做某事)后接动词原形,强调动作或事件很快就会发生e.g. Don't go out now. We are about to have dinner.
注意:be about to本身已经包含了“马上、即刻”的时间概念,因此不能与表具体将来的时间状语连用,如tomorrow, next week, in ten minutes等。
