be about to
be about to 原句：Allen was about to do so when he stopped short.(P16）Allen正要这么做，却突然停住了。
即将；正要（做某事）后接动词原形，强调动作或事件很快就会发生e.g. Don't go out now. We are about to have dinner.
注意：be about to本身已经包含了“马上、即刻”的时间概念，因此不能与表具体将来的时间状语连用，如tomorrow, next week, in ten minutes等。
