倡议信是由某一个组织或社会团体，就某事向公众发出号召或提议共同去做某事的书面文章。其目的是提倡开展某项有意义的活动或是推行某种行之有效的作法。倡议书语言有感召力、说服力。倡信书属应用文的一种，一般由称呼、正文、结尾、落款几部分组成。时态用一般用将来时或一般现在时。
