Recently, a fun new “Bunny Language” has become popular on Chinese social media, especially among teenagers. This special writing uses rabbit-shaped symbols that look both playful and cute. Many people call it “the world’s cutest language”. What makes it different from other online trends (动态) is that it works like a real writing system, and each symbol carries meaning.
On apps like Xiaohongshu, users can click a button to translate Bunny Language comments into normal text. Surprisingly, each symbol always matches the same word or phrase, showing it’s not just random (胡乱的) shapes. For example, a symbol with two long ears might mean “hello”, while a round bunny face could stand for “happy”. This consistency allows creative communication while keeping messages understandable.
How does this work technically All computer characters, including Bunny Language, follow a system called Unicode. Unicode gives every symbol a unique (独一无二的) number so devices can display them correctly. You might know ASCII codes for English letters — Unicode works similarly but covers more than 150 languages. Experts found that Bunny Language creatively combines symbols from Canadian Aboriginal writing, the Tai Dam language, and Burmese. This mix explains why some symbols look like plants or traditional patterns.
Now, Bunny Language appears everywhere — in emojis (表情符号), stationery, and even clothes. Its success has inspired other creative “languages” like Fish Language and Bird Language. On Douyin, videos teaching these symbols get millions of views. Young people say these cute symbols feel “healing” because they spread warmth and positive stories. As a 15-year-old user said, “When I send a bunny symbol instead of plain text (纯文本), my friends smile more.” This matches modern youths’ wish for relaxing and happy online experiences.
46.What makes Bunny Language different from common emojis according to the passage
A.It uses numbers instead of pictures to express ideas.
B.It is called “the world’s cutest language” by many people.
C.Its symbols look both playful and cute with rabbit shapes.
D.Each symbol has a fixed meaning like a real writing system.
47.The underlined word “healing” probably means________.
A.curing serious diseases B.teaching language skills
C.helping people forget worries D.showing scientific knowledge
48.What is the main purpose of the passage
A.To introduce a new online trend. B.To teach how to use Bunny Language.
C.To discuss the history of Unicode. D.To compare different symbol systems.

Ne Zha 2 is breaking box office records in China and around the world, becoming the first Asian film to enter the top ten highest-grossing movies worldwide. Experts predict the film could earn over 15 billion yuan, which means it could break into the global top five.
The success of the film is largely because of the high quality of its animation, but reviewers also note the story, which is not only entertaining but also manages to reach deeply into the human heart. The story is based on Investiture of the Gods, a 16th-century novel inspired by an ancient Chinese myth.
A myth is where all storytelling begins. Every culture has myths that try to explain the history of its people, and these myths often include supernatural beings that control the forces of the Earth and the lives of its inhabitants. In other words, myths are how the ancients were able to understand the world.
In modern times, science has swept away the idea of the supernatural. We know physics and chemistry, and we understand what causes natural phenomena (现象) such as earthquakes and volcanoes. However, what science has failed to explain, and perhaps never can, is our human “sense”—the special awareness of ourselves, including our thoughts, memories and emotions. This is why myths, the stories our ancestors told, still have a strong connection to the modern world. They help us understand what it means to be human and to live with other human beings.
Ne Zha 2 is a great example. It focuses on the coming-of-age journey of the rebellious (叛逆的) boy and explores common themes such as family bonds and responsibility. The main character Ne Zha is a demon (魔) and a troublemaker, but he is also a boy who wants love and understanding. There is a touching scene in the movie when his mother has to say goodbye. She says, “Every day I spend with you, I am very happy. I have never cared whether you are a fairy or a demon. I only know you are my son, and ▲ .”
A mother’s love is timeless and universal, and so are the lessons of ancient myths. These tales are deeply rooted in our psychology (心理), which is why they remain popular today. While our “scientific” minds know that these stories can’t be factual, our “consciousness” understands that they are true.
49.According to the reviewers, what makes Ne Zha 2 a success
A.The wonderful scenes and character designs.
B.The record-breaking box-office performance.
C.The well-known characters and movie makers.
D.The excellent quality and the touching story.
50.Why do myths still have a connection to the modern world
A.Because humans know nature very well.
B.Because humans have a special awareness.
C.Because the idea of the supernatural is true.
D.Because science can explain the supernatural.
51.Which of the following might be the best choice for “ ▲ ”
A.I am sorry you are a demon B.I will always punish you
C.I will love you forever D.I am sure you’ll be a fairy
52.What’s the best title for the passage
A.The Power of Myth B.A Troublemaker
C.Ne Zha and His Family D.A Mother’s Love

An asteroid (小行星) striking our planet is an event of science fiction. You can find more than a few books and movies using that idea. But an asteroid hitting Earth is also an event of scientific fact. Recently, it has been reported that an asteroid, named 2024 YR4, might be headed for Earth. It has a chance of hitting the planet in seven years.
Don’t run for cover just yet. “Asteroids, in general, are not something people should be overly worried about,” said NASA engineer Davide Farnocchia. NASA and its international partners have been tracking asteroids for years.
The chances of an asteroid strike are small, but when it happens, it’s called an impact event. This usually doesn’t pose a risk to the whole planet.
Asteroids are space rocks. When they fall to Earth, they’re called meteorites (陨石). Most small asteroids burn up in the atmosphere and never reach the ground. Bigger ones might make it through the atmosphere, but they usually end up in the ocean or open areas. This causes little or no harm to human beings.
Even so, scientists are studying asteroids to learn about their risks. In 2021, a group of scientists published a report on this subject. It said that an asteroid strike could cause such strong shock waves that they would knock down trees and buildings as well as cause fires. If it hit the ocean, there would be huge waves in the sea.
These are all direct effects. In the long term, these impacts could change ecosystems (生态系统). For example, uncovered soil after an impact could change how rainwater flows. Dust from the impact could also change the climate.
One famous event was the 1908 Tunguska impact in Siberia. The 65-meter-wide rock caused bright nights for days from Siberia to the Atlantic Ocean. Another example was the 2013 Chelyabinsk meteor in Russia, which was 20 meters wide. It caused little damage on the ground, but its explosion in the air created a shock wave. About 1,500 people were hurt and many buildings were damaged as a result.
Bigger asteroids cause more damage. The good news is that we can redirect asteroids. In November 2021, NASA sent up the spacecraft DART. Its target was an asteroid named Dimorphos. About one year later, DART successfully crashed into Dimorphos. NASA later stated that the asteroid’s orbit was changed. This was the first time humans had changed the movement of a space object on purpose.
53.What can we learn about 2024 YR4
A.It is an asteroid in a science fiction. B.It is a newly discovered star in 2024.
C.It might crash into the Earth in 2031. D.It dropped onto the Earth in 2024.
54.What is the underlined word “pose” in the passage similar to
A.Cause. B.Prevent. C.Reduce. D.Control.
55.What problems may an asteroid strike lead to
①climate change ②rich soil ③building damage ④terrible fires ⑤huge waves
A.①②④⑤ B.①③④⑤ C.②③④⑤ D.①②③④
56.What can we infer from the last paragraph
A.Humans can reach any asteroid. B.More asteroids can be discovered.
C.Humans can live on bigger asteroids. D.An asteroid strike can be prevented.
D
As the sun rises over a Beijing village on a usual morning in early 2025, 75-year-old Hao Lanying sits at her desk, scissors in hand, cutting red paper into the shape of a snake winding around a bird. The design is part of a series she has created to celebrate the Year of the Snake.
“I designed the ‘auspicious snake’ series as gifts for elderly locals,” said Hao, who is from Jishanying Village in Beijing’s Shunyi District and is a master of the art of paper cutting, which is a form of intangible cultural heritage.
Hao has mastered the unique (独特的) “water-ripple” paper-cutting technique, which dates back to the late Qing Dynasty. What makes Hao’s work unique is her use of scissors instead of knives. With skilled hands, she presents special designs of rippling (涟漪) water and falling raindrops on single-layer red paper, bringing her designs to life.
Hao has devoted over half a century to saving this dying art form. Her efforts gained attention around the world in 2004 when UNESCO collected her works. And over the past 20 years, her works have been presented as national gifts to leaders of many European countries.
A map of the world in Hao’s studio documents her cultural journey: a total of 193 red pins show the countries and areas where her works have travelled, while 28 marked flight paths weave together her stories of cultural exchange.
Below the map, a handwritten note reads, “I hope the roots of Chinese paper cutting will grow in every corner.”
Hao’s international journey began in 2005 when she visited Brazil with a Chinese women’s group. There, she designed a piece combining (组合) Brazilian feathers and Youngge dance ribbons with local women. It later became a stamp celebrating 40 years of China-Brazil friendship.
“She cuts not just patterns, but the flowing story of China,” a media reported.
On a wall in her studio, two photographs present a striking contrast (鲜明对比). One shows Hao in 1984, cutting paper in her courtyard and surrounded by drying works. The other was taken last year, showing Hao in the same courtyard, surrounded this time by students from the United States, France, Italy and other countries as she taught them her craft.
Now facing the digital age, Hao has taken an open-minded way to continuing her work. She has led the development of an augmented reality (AR) teaching system for paper cutting, which allows users to scan her works to experience the whole process of its creation.
Her water-ripple style of paper cutting has been explained in educational materials for children. She has also started a paper-cutting cultural and creative brand, breathing new life into traditional culture.
At the opening of a United Nations exhibition, she said, “Each paper-cutting is a window into Chinese culture, and when millions of windows open, we see the starry sky of human civilizations (文明).”
57.Which of the following is true according to the passage
A.Hao used knives to create designs on single-layer red paper.
B.Hao showed little interest in developing AR teaching system.
C.Hao’s paper-cutting has become children’s teaching materials.
D.Hao’s works were presented as gifts to many Brazilian leaders.
58.The 193 red pins on Hao’s world map represents ________.
A.the total number of her paper-cutting artworks
B.locations where her artworks have been shared
C.different countries she plans to visit in the future
D.the number of her stories about cultural exchange
59.Which of the following is the correct order of this story
a. UNESCO collected Hao’s different works.
b. Hao visited Brazil and created art with local women.
c. Hao taught foreign students her craft in her courtyard.
d. Hao learned the special “water-ripple” paper-cutting skill.
e. Hao made special “auspicious snake” designs for elderly locals.
A.a-b-d-e-c B.d-b-a-e-c C.d-a-b-c-e D.a-d-b-c-e
60.What does the sentence “Each paper-cutting is a window into Chinese culture” suggest

第二节 从短文后所给的选项中选出能填入短文空白处的最佳选项,其中有两项是多余选项。
From time to time, you may experience strong feelings of disappointment (失望), sadness, frustration (沮丧), even helplessness. 61 Your friends might tell you to “calm down” or “control yourself.” But what does that really mean
Accept Your Feelings
It is okay to feel overwhelmed (不知所措的); it is okay to feel nervous; and it is okay to feel as if the world is going to end. In fact, it is only a natural human response (反应) to stress. Don’t worry too much. 62 Accepting them is the first step toward change.
Step Away for a While
If it is all too overwhelming, just step away—take a break from that task. For example, if you have been studying very hard for your science test but suddenly feel your heart is racing and you don’t seem to remember anything, just stop what you are doing. Go to the kitchen and have a snack. Go outside and feel the wind. 63
Make a List to Beat Overwhelm
Sometimes you may feel overwhelmed when you have too many things to do, such as studying many subjects or organizing a birthday event. The best thing to do is to sit down and make a list of the things that need to get done. 64 Then prioritize (优先处理) these tasks according to their importance or urgency (紧迫性). You will feel calmer at the end of writing the list.
Set Boundaries by Saying “No”
Where you can help it, say “no”—learn to set boundaries for yourself. For example, if your friend asks you to go shopping with her to buy a gift for her mother but you know you have to study for an important test, say “no” to her. You wouldn’t want to stress yourself out when you end up not having enough time to study for the test. So, consider yourself, and excuse yourself.
Learning to manage strong feelings takes time and practice. 65 You only have one YOU.
A.There is nothing wrong with your feelings this way.
B.Dealing with such feelings does not come easy for many of us.
C.You should forget your feelings and put more effort into your work.
D.Always be in touch with yourself, and learn what works best for you.
E.Writing something down is a good idea as it would help you to deal with different tasks.
F.Such actions will help you clear your mind and you will feel better when you return to that task.
五、请认真阅读下面短文,根据语篇内容,在空白处填入括号内单词的正确形式,使短文通顺、连贯。(满分10分)
Have you heard of Wang Xingxing, the founder of Unitree Company The Yang BOT robots on the Spring Festival Gala 66 (design) by their team. How Amazing! Here is his speech dedicated (献给) to spring: Believe.
Many people might think I was a top student, but actually, I wasn’t. Especially in English—I tried my best but 67 (fail) most of times in high school. In the eyes of teachers and classmates, I was “slower” than others, and I myself felt worried too. However, I have my own love. I spent all my spare time on “small 68 (invent)”. At 10, I built a wind-powered car out of old cardboard. At 15, I made a tiny engine and model airplanes from scrap (废弃的) metal. At 19, I decided to make a robot. No one believed I could do it. At last, I invented a small two-legged robot with just 200 yuan 69 (success). From that experience, I learn that if you want to achieve anything that seems 70 (possible), you just need to break into thousands of small steps and solve them one by one.
Later, I faced more challenges. When I started my robot company in my 71 (twenty), many people didn’t believe me. But I believe: Some people only believe when they see, while others see because they believe. In this fast-paced world, I would like 72 (take) it slow, avoiding shortcuts. I believe that if we keep doing difficult but right things, it 73 (pay) off in the future.
Till now, the robots our company invented 74 (become) the most popular in the world. We are lucky because technology is growing faster than ever. Together, we can create smarter AI, 75 (good) robots, cooler games and more amazing movies than before.
Finally, let’s remember the words from the movie Nezha. “Do you still want to change the world I want to try! Let’s try together!”

A heartwarming story about a Cuban (古巴的) pilot named Alberto Alonso Sanjuan, also called “Tito”, has touched people in China and Cuba. Many years ago, Tito trained in China with the Chinese Air Force (中国空军). Now, in his 80s, he still keeps his old Chinese notebooks, medals, and a graduation certificate.
In February, a vlogger posted a video showing Tito in his hometown in Cuba. Tito shared his memories of learning to fly in China during the 1960s. “Most of my friends are gone,” he said sadly. He also asked, “How much does a flight to China cost ” After hearing these, many netizens (网民) were greatly touched, they decided to help him.
Thanks to the Internet, Chinese netizens found Tito’s old teachers. Soon, a group of representatives from the Chinese Air Force visited Cuba to meet Tito and other Cuban pilots who received training in China in the 1960s.
In 1960, China and Cuba established diplomatic ties (建立外交关系). To help Cuba build its air force, China invited Cuban pilots to train. The Cuban students faced challenges: cold weather, new technology, and a language barrier (障碍). Chinese teachers used models and drawings to explain flying skills. The Cubans worked hard to learn Chinese, even writing words on their hands to remember them.
One Chinese teacher, Mr. Peng, recalled, “We ate and trained together. They never gave up, even in freezing weather.” In just one year, over 200 Cuban pilots returned home, becoming leaders in Cuba’s air force.
During the meeting in Cuba, the Chinese team brought video messages from Tito’s teachers. Mr. Peng smiled and said, “I still remember their hard work.” The Cuban pilots thanked China for its kindness. “Chinese teachers taught us everything,” said Henry, a Cuban pilot.
The Chinese ambassador to Cuba added, “This reunion (重聚) not only shows a nice teacher-student relationship but also shows the lasting friendship. It’s not just in the past, but remains at present, and will continue to the future.”
