Introducing your favourite singer or band
1. Listen and catch key information about the school radio programme about music；
2. Work out the meanings of some important expressions；
3. Write an article about your favourite singer or band.
Before listening, scan the exercises in part A2 on page 22 of the textbook to grasp the listening structure. Then listen to the radio programme about music and finish the exercises in part A.
1. Read the article on page 23 of the textbook and find the structure and the main idea of each part.

1. Write an article to introduce your favourite singer or band.
Planning your writing：
Para.1 Give some basic information, such as name(s), members, their musical style and place of origin.
Para.2 Introduce their unique features and influences.
Para.3 Describe an unforgettable memory related to them or their music.
2. When writing the introductory text, you can follow the structure like this：
