Try to catch the main ideas instead of trying to remember and translate each word you hear.
Listen to Conversation 1 again and circle the words that the speaker stresses.

Content words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, etc.) are stressed whereas function words (prepositions, conjunctions, articles, etc.) are not stressed.
