词汇 含义与用法 例句
travel 泛指“旅行”，侧重动作，不可数；也可表“游历”，动词/名词 I love to travel around the country.（我喜欢环游全国。） Travel is a good way to open our eyes.

My Travel Plan
The summer holiday is coming, and I plan to go on a trip to Xi’an with my best friend, Li Ming. Xi’an is a beautiful city with a long history, and I am really looking forward to this trip.
We will hit the road on August 1st and travel by high-speed train. It takes about 4 hours to get to Xi’an from our city, and the train ticket is 200 yuan per person. We will stay in Xi’an for 5 days and live in a hotel near the Bell Tower, because it’s in the center of the city and easy to go anywhere. During the trip, we will visit many famous places. First, we will go to the Terracotta Army. It’s very famous in the world and I want to see it for a long time. Second, we will climb the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and enjoy the beautiful view of the city from the top.
