Many people want to travel around the world. Some just dream, but we make it happen. My friend Brooks Allen and I, Gregg Bleakney, hoped to go bike riding from North America to South America.
To pay for the trip, we worked hard for years. When we
were on the road, we put up tents or stayed in poor places. Sometimes, people in many places opened their homes to us and gave us food.
On our trip, Brooks and I rode through deserts(沙漠), forests and mountains. We visited both big cities and old buildings. We met other people from all over the world and they also liked riding bikes.
