1. What引导的特殊疑问句
What是疑问代词,意为“什么”,常用来询问某人或某物(是什么,怎么样)。
此处结构:What + be动词(am/is/are) + 主语 + 其他
回答时根据询问的内容用短语或句子来回答。
在特殊疑问句中,疑问词与后面的系动词 be 或助动词常用缩略形式,如 what's、who's、where's。
2. Where引导的特殊疑问句
Where是疑问副词,用于询问地点,意为“哪里;什么地方”。
此处结构:Where + be动词(am/is/are) + 主语 + from
回答:主语 + be动词(am/is/are) + from + 其他.
* 询问“来自于哪里”的其他方式:

3. Why引导的特殊疑问句
Why是疑问副词,常用来询问具体的、直接的原因,意为“为什么”。
此处结构:
Why + 助动词(do/does)(+not) + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他
回答时常用because引导的句子来陈述理由或原因。
Why don't you … 可用于提出建议
* 基本结构为:Why don't you + 动词原形 + 其他
或者Why not + 动词原形 + 其他 ,意为“你为什么不做……呢?”

连词because的用法
because意为“因为”,后面接原因状语从句。
E.g. She didn’t go to school because she was ill.
回答why问句时,只能用because,不能用for或as。
E.g. — Why are you in a hurry
— Because I want to catch the first bus.
汉语中我们经常说“因为……所以……”,但在英文中有了because就不能再用so。
E.g. Because he was tired, he couldn’t walk there.
比较:because of是复合介词,后面常接名词、代词、
动名词。
E.g. We missed the train because of the heavy traffic.
We stayed at home because of the rain.
because of后不能接句子!
